  • When users change financial lines, they are prompted to save these before marking jobs as complete via the back office. (220168)

  • An admin error is no longer displayed when a back-office user attempts to email and manually adds an attachment, from a notecard from a note attached to a resource. (221221)

Simplify VAT and Nominal Code Allocation For Expenses in Seconds

Expenses added to jobs appear as line items. The process of allocating VAT and Nominal codes to them has previously been manual. No more!

Setup and configuration of this new feature couldn’t be easier, and prevents invoices that are synced with financial packages from failing due to missing information.

Once setup is complete, any expense item added to the job will continue to have the line item created automatically, however the nominal code and VAT code will be pre-populated, no longer requiring manual intervention.

Group Job List Export

The group job list view that you love, has just got better. You can now export the data you see to CSV or XLSX. Perfect for sharing with colleagues, or customers in seconds.

The group jobs list has received incremental updates, with 23.02 seeing the introduction of job group titles. In 23.03, users are now able to export the data into either a CSV or XLSX file. All the columns you would expect to see are available, including status, start and end dates, reference and order number.

Blueprints can also be used, allowing you to format exports just as your client wants them without repeatedly pressing the same buttons.

Want to save time and reduce administrative effort while financially completing your company's jobs? Our latest release includes an enhancement can help you do just that.

We are pleased to announce that release 23.01 includes a time-saving addition to the highly praised β€˜marking a job financially complete’ functionality released last year.

This enhancement allows you to financially complete all child jobs instantaneously when marking the group as financially complete, saving you valuable time and reducing administrative effort.

As a financial controller, you know how important it is to keep track of the financial status of your company's jobs. With this addition, you can mark all the jobs in a group as financially complete with just a few clicks, rather than having to complete them individually. This can save you valuable time and allow you to focus on other important tasks.

Do you struggle to remember multiple passwords for all of your online accounts? Do you use the same password repeatedly? Does your IT team repeatedly remind you to change your password with an increasingly complex set of minimum requirements? If the answer to any of those is yes, the addition of Auth0 to BigChange can help you.

The security of your data is our number one priority; however, with more of our customers using an increasing number of software platforms, it was time that we made things easier - having one password for all.

Despite the contradiction in what you may previously have been told, using a single password for all your accounts is actually secure, provided it is done properly. Enter SSO.

Single-Sign-On (SSO) allows you to access multiple systems using a single password, with many of our customers already employing this technology to access their HR, project management and expense systems. IT teams love its simplicity as it makes user management far more straightforward.

One of the leading providers of SSO authentication services is Auth0, the authorisation service which our users are now using to login to BigChange.

It puts user management in your control.

At present, the only change users will notice is the format of the login screen, however, in subsequent releases, this technology will make it possible for users to sign in using their existing Google/Microsoft/Okta/A.Another account - dependent on your organisation's setup.
